Samuel Andre

Multi-Media Artist
from France, who currently lives in Kyoto
Studied Mathematics and
Cognitive Sciences
during his university days
and studied music interface
as the theme of his graduation
thesis.
In parallel with music activities as a Sound Artist
his installation works are also
presented at various art galleries
and international exhibitions.
The scope of the activity
is not limited to
the Kansai area, and
exhibits overseas as well.
In 2002 he won the 1st prize of
the Aquitaine movie-music contest
in the experimental movie category
and in 2015
the prize of excellence
at Sapporo*north2 AWARD ver.SIAF2014

サミュエル・アンドレ
マルチメディア・アーティスト
あなたの内なる旅につながる

仏国ノルマンディー出身、現在京都市在住のマルチメディア・アーティスト、サミュエル・アンドレは大学時代に数学と認知科学を学び、ミュージック・インタフェースの研究を卒業論文のテーマにする。
サウンド・アーティストとしての音楽活動と並行してインスタレーション作品も様々なアートギャラリー、国際展で発表。その活動範囲は関西圏だけに留まらず海外でもで展示発表を精力的に行う 2002 年には、実験映画部門のアキテーヌ映画音楽コンテスrトで 1 位, 2015 年には札幌国際芸術祭 2014（Sapporo*north2 AWARD ver.SIAF2014）にてで年間部門の優秀賞を受賞する。
